We knew it wasn't going to be pretty. We knew we had growing pains with a young team. Injuries haven't helped. Still hopeful for the future. But that future is next year.

Not surprised and not really hopeful for the future. I have no reason to believe that talent acquisition has improved. It's too early to judge 2016's draft, but 2015's draft and 2016's free agency already look really bad with few bright spots. It's depressing.

This is the same shite we say every year. That long term future is going to be without the GOAT quarterback and we have no replacement in sight. We are wasting drew brees and it's not fair to him.

A lot of us knew that this was a rebuild year, though some posters thought we were primed for a 10-11 win season.

You could tell by preseason this team wasn't very good, and that was with the starters playing. Now, decimated by injury, we are seeing how bad our depth is on the team.

I blame Payton/Loomis for the following:
1. Bad drafting for several years
2. Ignoring the O-line
3. Rolling with 2 UDFAs at cornerback should injuries happen (they did)

No, and I dont understand the melt. I do get frustrated when we keep shooting ourselves in the foot. The first two games were and should have been winnable. Dropped passes by Fleener are inexcusable and Allen needs to sit Laurinitis in favor of a younger guy to get experience. If we're giving up points that is fine, we werent going to win many games anyway, but lets get some experience and build depth.

I said it in preseason, this could be the leagues worst team. Yeah injuries blah blah blah. 3 years now this D has been shite.

Team needs a new voice, new leadership. Just like the school up the road. Both should have been fired after last season.

I have very very little hope for the future with current regime. Yes they won a SB. 7 years ago now. Time to move on.
