OP---some of the truth but not all the truth. Aleva had leeway to hire Jimbo- he fumbled the ball and mishandled the negotiations creating a total PR nightmare for LSU- At halftime a meeting was held with board members and the decision was made to keep Les
There are other details- but the bottom line is if Aleva was out of his skill set in trying to negotiate with the best agent in football.
He does not need to be alone in the room negotiating.
