Negatigers was such a dumb fricking name. NegaMiles maybe. If they were like me, they were in the stadium start to finish cheering on our players. Miles was divisive as a HBC. He was very successful yet frustratingly awful in clutch moments. I thought Les Miles put us in place to compete for championships. I also thought that he dicked up numerous opportunities for us to be in those championships. His 2005 run ending with a loss to UGA was a thing of beauty. The man seemed to manage (or be oblivious to) chaos. 2011 was special teams, and one of the best defenses in history led by Chavis. 2013 was about world class offensive talent and a transfer QB. The reality is that we did well but still underachieved in the minds of many. Les was the cow that gave the best milk in town and then kicked the bucket over. It is what is is. We were in the mix for awhile, but it was beyond time for Les to go. Good luck to Les the man. He is a quality human being and the most successful coach in our programs history. Geaux Tigers.
