coach o is not a long term solution. he will be a fantastic interim and will probably win some games he's not supposed to.

i am in shock so many people think his is viable.

Let me be clear. I'm not stumping for O as our next head coach. However, in the past I've seen schools get enamored with an interim head coach that does well over the course of a remaining season AND comes with a cheaper price tag. In their minds, best of both worlds. Usually though it backfires.

I want Tom Herman. I'm afraid that a strong showing by O and "state financial crisis" means we end up with O.

I don't think it is the absolute best option but I think that it will appear that way for LSU if we win some games. He is by far the cheapest option, very passionate, definitely won't bolt, and wants the job. Our players love him.
