we have the mando play rule yes...but the league is very competitive still...rule isn't truly enforced unless parent goes to AD...until then I get the earful from the parents...but when AD asks me why I don't play him...and its because he doesn't give his all at practice and never knows what to do even when instructed, I usually get a behind closed doors slap on the wrist...cause AD knows what's really up..


oh and we do play to win...AND teach...not doing so is millennial "every body is a winner" BS...

Typically those two characteristics are mutually exclusive.

Why do you care if they bitch?

I've coached a number of youth teams and have loved every minute of it. But what parents say/do doesn't phase me. And if I screw up, and that does happen, I'm ok taking the licks. I deserve them.

If it's competitive sports, be a man and understand that competing means you better be equipped to handle the bad parts. Hell that's what makes you better, the bad parts.
