He was pretty much a disaster as HC. Great coordinator though.

He would be a top tier hire. But I don't think he comes down to college. He has to much success behind him and he's being mentored by one of the greatest coaches of all time.

It's a risk, but I'd be intrigued, and I would have an open mind about it, if he were hired. Sometimes, these NFL guys work out well in college.

Why would he ever do that? He is a NFL guy. Much better and easier gig.

Only washouts like Crowton and Cam go back to school

NFL coaches seem to fail or be mediocre at best more often than not

It's because they run their programs like NFL teams, its two different games. You can't approach preparation with a college team like an NFL team.

JM is a NFL coach. He doesn't have recruiting experience and "building" a program.

If you recall, he came in and cleaned house in Denver and lost the trust of his remaining pieces. The actions in his first week as HC led to his demise.

Recruiting.

This guy hasn't had to sit in the homes of kids and convince them why they should come to his school over all the other great options.
