Just got back. I really enjoyed it. One of the better movies this year. The mexican guy was my favorite. Some funny parts too.

There is nothing special about it, but Pratt, D'Onofrio and Hawke all add enough to their characters to be fun to watch and Denzel is Denzel still.

It won't win anything, but you hate the villain, root for the underdogs and get a satisfying ending. Didn't know this til I sat down in the theater but this was written by Nic Pizzolatto.

I saw the original with Yul Brynner and Steve McQueen a few times growing up as kid and liked. So, I look forward to seeing this remake, but the previews make it look over the top. I am a western movie guy from Randolph Scott, Gary Cooper, Joel McCrea, the Duke John Wayne all the way up to Clint Eastwood.

been watching Western week on AHC channel and wouldn't mind seeing Denzel make another western playing that Black bounty hunter they patterned the Lone Ranger after. I can't think of his name right now, but it should be a good movie with Denzel playing the character.
