Saban is meticulous about every aspect of it, though. It is as though he doesn't care about he results at all. I think he is on the spectrum with Asperger's or something, and that isn't an insult. A lot of highly successful people are. He is obsessed and that sets him apart.
He can win a national championship and force himself to smile while thinking about recruiting at the post-game press conference. It is insane. He is a coaching robot.
Lots of coaches have a process. His is extreme and it works. I'm no fan of Saban, but you have to respect what the man does.

I personally believe this is why he's so successful. He doesn't stress the results, he stresses the process because he knows it will bring results. Not everyone operates that way.
