Several years ago I went to the sugar mill and got a 5 gallon bucket of molasses, mixed it with corn, rice bran, couple other things. Had grand ideas about how good my new blocks would be. Boiled it all up in an old crawfish pot and poured it into molds. Not only did it not set up and perform like I expected, but the by product was something that would rival tar in stickiness and longevity. Sooooooo wasn't worth it.
