I'm not saying that Tin Roof's gose was some world class example of the style. But to say that it was a bad beer or was brewed poorly or to call it "shite" is disingenuous.

I stated IN MY OPINION, meaning personally, i didn't like it. Taste is subjective. I may like a beer that you hate and vice/versa. That's why i end each sentence with IMO to avoid confusion.

But you really need to differentiate between a beer that isn't your favorite from a badly brewed beer.

You are correct in that i generalized Tin Roof on their Gose. Maybe i shouldn't have done that. But i'll tell you this. My brother and I were at CBD when we had it. My brother is a bigger sour guy than I (I believe you met him at Nottoway), and we both thought the same thing. That doesnt mean everyone has the same reaction to it. That's just our perception of the beer. We didn't like it, and i was thankful i didn't buy a bomber of that stuff.

Redesign of recipes is coming,

They need this badly. Everyone in my circle doesn't like their beers, and many won't even try their beers because of their initial rollout. I don't know what this new gal can do, but for the craft drinker, I wish they would brew something good.

The Bayou Bengal, while not an exciting beer by any means, shows that they are capable of brewing a hard to brew style well.

Perfect example. I'm willing to try this beer, but i'm not buying a 6 pack to just be "Tin Roof'd" again. And so far, i can't find singles of this beer, and i'm not ordering this at the chimes or other beer bars (the rare once ever 2 months i go).

This is her last week, but she's done a good job of bringing in a new team and changing both processes and attitudes around there.

Hard to find singles of cans that aren't packaged in a separate six pack holder (like Terrapin) due to bar code issues. You may be able to find singles at Martin's, which is one of the few places that will sell single cans of Great Raft, NOLA, Tin Roof, etc.
