Hard wired. It's just an oven. I think it was a 20 or 30 amp. Thought it made a little funny sound the first time I clicked the breaker back on outside so I'm thinking it could be s bad connection. I don't like messing with electricity.

I had the same issue with a stove and it was the breaker.
Noticed there were 2 other replacements in the panel
Ended up changing the entire panel because it was almost 50 yrs. old.

If the oven was off and it made a sound at all, you have a connection or oven problem. You should not have any load(noise) when resetting the breaker with the oven off.
