While I think Miles as failed the program in many ways I have to agree with this post. U can blame him for not recruiting the right QB and sticking with him to long but not what happened in the second half.

While there was a good bit of the same old shite from this coaching staff (i.e., second half play selection) there was also plenty to be optimistic about (QB, Defensive line play, online/run game). I've just come to accept the fact that our offense simply cannot salt away a game late in the 4th quarter. Or the third quarter for that matter. MSU's comeback was definitely aided from some flukey calls, fumbles and piss poor onside kick coverage.

I like some of the progress they've made offensively but trying to keep in perspective that it's come against two poor teams.

Whatever makes you feel better. We will still hope for the best each week and HOPE that someone on the freaking sideline convinces Les Miles to throw on a 1st down.....not just a 3rd & 8. We are LSU fans. We don't hope to lose either. We would love to march into Jordan-Hare and throw up to 40 points on Auburn. But we are also realistic.

Realistic....not haters.

Love your team. Not the coach. Unless he's paying you.

Overall, I feel pretty good about this team going forward with Etling at QB. Still want Miles gone, and this is likely his final year here, but I think this can be a pretty good team going forward. I'm definitely interested to see how everything plays out the rest of this season.

And if LSU finishes with a title you still want Miles gone?

These extreme betas are happy with beating them by exactly what South Alabama did.

I am obviously a beta and if you see the same circumstances in these two games you know nothing.

Game shouldn't have been as close it was, but I believe that's on the play calling.

I am convinced that LSU fans will never be happy with play calling if you are bitching about this game!

I guess what drives a majority of all of us crazy is just watching HIS team falling or imploding on the field and the camera shows Les with the "no fricks given stare". Maybe another way of saying it is the "Deer in the headlights" look. Whether it be a time management debactle or stupid penalties at the wrong time. Just seeing Les looking clueless just gets old. Help these young men out right the ship do fricking something

You're right he should have been interferring with the play calling

I think we returned 18 starters, and the best RB in the country.

We have played five (5) full quarters with no score.
