Miami syndrome to a degree

shite facilities, busy town/city where they don't have the whole community behind them, private school with good academic reputation that relies on bringing in borderline intellectually deficient athletes so when shite hits the fan, the admin puts more pressure to bring in better students.

It's not as severe as Miami, but they have some similar problems

This analogy doesn't work.

Miami is like #80 for USNews Best Colleges...

USC has been in the Top 25 for awhile now.

I watched a video on the McKay Center; besides TAMU, Tennessee or Oregon's Death Star - who has better facilities?

Miami is a poor analogy...they didn't draw even when they were winning titles in the 1980's. They have no real tradition or heritage...nouveau-riche that losses it's swagger once the money runs out.
