When Kylo was asking Han to "help him" I think he was asking permission to kill him to keep Snoke off the trail.

Kylo's loyalty was in question and he needed something to prove it.

I believe Luke trained Kylo to infiltrate the First Order in order to get to Snoke and Han was probably in on the plan.

That's about as Crackpot as it gets. He clearly has anger issues and is utterly obsessed with living up to his grandfather's reputation. He knows he is weak. He murdered just about all of Luke's training class. We've seen how he acts alone without anyone watching. There's no way that he's a plant for Luke after all he's done.
