Well as I'm sure you know, City's fanbase isn't a large one.. It's still very localized and unlike United or Arseanal or other huge clubs, a family from another European country likely isn't going to take a trip over the weekend to go to the Etihad

You do realize a vast majority of United and Arsenal match going fans are local. The whole tourist thing isn't as big as people make it out to be.

The stadium was added onto in anticipation of the direction the club is going in, which is obviously to become a worldwide brand, which is happening, but it won't happen over night.

Makes no sense to build when there is not the demand. It was used as a FFP loop hole for "potential revenue". City owners are not dumb

Yes I do, but I know friends of mine (so I'm assuming others may know people who have done this, but please someone correct me if I'm wrong and no one knows anyone who has made a trip like this) who have made trips from the states just to go to a match at Old Trafford or The Emirates.

You know good and well that United and other large clubs are much more followed by people who don't live there than City are.

Hell, I don't even know any other City fans in real life. They're all United fans for the most part.
