Because I agree, in theory it's not racist. Now the APPLICATION of the law is discriminatory. The ducking Supreme Court said so too.

I could care less about what a law says -- how it is governed and applied matters more because that's actually what has an effect on people's lives. We can hide under the guise of the letter of the law but our lives are dictated by its spirit.

How so? Please describe, in detail, how requiring a valid ID to vote is unfairly discriminatory when you need the same in order to purchase alcohol, for example?
