Can you honestly say they didn't work with him at all? And if they spent numerous hours working with him and he can't get it done, then it's on the player

Agreed, which begs the question, why couldn't Miles see the difference between Harris and Etling and pull the trigger on the switch? Someone on here was talking about Miles and his NFL coaching experience......... I don't know much about football, but even I could see the difference in the pocket presence and accuracy, especially in the short game.

Honestly I think he had real faith that Harris would have improved from last year and wanted to give him every opportunity to gain his confidence back against Jack St. When that didn't happen I think he finally realized we were dealing with another Jennings

Not the same in practice.....can't handle the pressure during the game.

Well, to answer a rational question finally here, it has been said by many folks that during practices, Brandon is lights out. Etling has only been eligible for 2 games at LSU. He came in, in his second game. So it's not like we've had him on the bench for a whole season behind a QB screwing up. I understand we look at it now, and think he should have played against Wisconsin, but if Harris really outshines in practice like they say he does, I can see the coach wanting to stay with him and let him work through it. They also say he is a bit of a head case. Pulling him in the first game is a way to pretty much guarantee you'll lose him.
