quote:That is ridiculous. What was his excuse for the drops at Wisky? If he wants to play at the next level he should want a Qb that can deliver the ball on target.....and then CATCH it.
Dupre came across as shutting it down for his home boy Harris.

This is just stupid! Last week Dupre was dropping Harris' passes.

He has a total of 24 yards through two games, so he hasn't been giving any special effort for his roommate either. He dropped three passes against Wisconsin and Etling didn't even see the field in that one.

No, stop right there. Dupre struggled last week as well with his "boy" (as you stated) Harris playing. His struggles are something else entirely. Possibly, it's the pressure of expecting to put up good numbers and make plays this season so he can go to the NFL. Whatever it is, he needs to relax and just play ball or he'll be trying to improve his stock next season.
Chark and Smith just want to play and that's what is driving them. Dupre is trying too hard to be more than himself. He needs to get back to that and realize that's what got him where he is in the first place. Of course, it could be some "off-the-field" stuff that we're unaware of. However, he, too, will be on thin ice of getting replaced by a more productive player if he doesn't fix it.

What you said is exactly correct.
Also, I hope people can figure out what you didn't say because that is also exactly correct.
