Inherent vice is a nice little time waster movie. There's not much of a point to it and it kind of falls short of being good, but I enjoyed watching it
very well put together.
as for PTA, I love boogie nights, might be one of my top movies of all time. I loved inherent vice too. Magnolia was solid, but too long. I didn't watch the master, as the wife thought it looked terrible. I didn't like TWWB, and pubnch drunk love was alright.

very well put together.
You cant be well put together AND need a book to explain it. It was poor story telling.
