Sounds like it.
If the fan will spin in the right direction, you are probably ok running it for a while.
I prefer to take parts in to make sure I leave with the right ones. Sometimes the motor shafts change in length or how the fan will fit back on.
Don't accidentally bend your fan blades or you could greatly shorten the life of the new motor.
