DO NOT USE OATMEAL: That works for humans but many dogs actually adversely react to its application; more irritation on the skin.
I recently researched the best remedy for my dog and discovered that DR. BRONNERS 18 in 1 hemp lavendar castile soap did the trick.
Lavender is also a mild natural antiseptic and the hemp is soothing to the skin.
This product can be obtained from Whole Foods or online.
