I think what he did was about as commendable as the idiots that walk around cities open carrying rifles to make a point.
Are both within their rights? Absolutely. Do I agree with the message being conveyed? Absolutely not.

No one said it only stood for soldiers. There are many that have a problem with what the reasoning given by the two was not that they should be punished because they didn't stand.
But it's pretty obvious you started this thread just to get people riled up.
