But that is true, there does seem to be a good majority of Tulane fans, even students from out of state, that absolutely hate LSU. There isn't much reasoning behind it either. When asked, the most common answer is "LSU fans are just a bunch of dicks". Although they might not be completely wrong, most of them had never even met an LSU fan outside of myself.
I guess they are just trying to hold on to a past where they were once relevant in major college sports.

Honestly not a bad answer. As a kid who went to plenty of Tulane-LSU baseball games in the early 2000's when the rivalry was real, wearing Tulane gear, I would have probably told you the same thing. But of course things have changed in that rivalry and I know plenty of LSU fans and pretty much all of my friends are LSU fans
