Any of them. They teach discipline, confidence and how to throw a punch/kick.
Also, as stated ground game is important. Judo, Jiu jitsu, Tai Kwan Do, Karate all work.
Krav Maga is a little much for children.

My instructor had a Krav class for kids. I would get their early and it was a bunch of little Jewish kids with their kippahs on. He was very patient with the kids.

agreed...I am not sure some of these folks actually realize what Krav Maga really is.
