This sport is so messed up. Cowgirls and Vikes fans had all the reason in the world to be excited about their seasons. Now, it's likely kaput.

I know it's part of the deal, but it's still tough and even more for college IMO.
Watching Gurley and Chubb at Georgia go down was heartbreaking.

Injuries often end football careers.
Most happen to kids we never hear about.
Only a lucky few have DNA and skill combo to play pro long enough to get the retirement. At least they make a small fortune in their blaze of glory.
