This show is absolutely amazing.

Both these guys have acted their parts amazingly. Never thought McBride had the chops, but you can really feel his conflict.

It's extremely well written and acted. Those are real three dimensional people.
Wayne Gamby is one of those guys who is just determined to frick things up. He had a great situation -- good new relationship, about to be sole vice principal and get a raise -- and he chucked all that because he doesn't really have any friends. And Lee Russell plays all those games because he's a miserable, powerless person.
At first, my wife and I were saying it was good that Wayne and Lee teamed up against Dr. Brown, because they were just kind of drifting through life with no direction. But I think its really bad, that the whole thing has caused them to behave worse (I don't think Russell would have set Dr. Brown's house on fire if he was alone and if he wasn't in the picture, Wayne never would have gotten her drunk.)
