The two people I know one had to leave for Texas due to old age one is still living in a shelter have not received a penny from FEMA yet. They were denied DSNAP despite just above poverty line income. Have not heard from any FEMA adjuster to even come look at their house.

Hell her house was even pointed at by Hannity on his show to highlight the devastation.

I'm not sure what the time line has been for people, but I can't imagine income plays any role in that and it will not play a role in their housing assistance funding.

I have no idea what method FEMA uses to determine how much they give out. We got almost the max amount, while my neighbor got 20K or so. I gutted everything 4 feet and under and he did not, so I thjnk maybe that's why I was awarded more.
