i have 2 units, one new and the other about 20 years old. the new one, even before I replaced it last year, never dripped water out of the outside drain line. the older one is flowing at about a couple of gallons a day.

Google says my main drain line is clogged. Where is this main line? All I can see is the pan under the unit with the discharge line to outside coming from it.

Should have another pvc drain coming out of the coil.

It should drain into a stack/vent usually near the unit. Trace both pvc pipes, the pan drain should go out the nearest eave, the main drain should drain into a stack or P trap.
