Freedom of speech is freedom of ALL speech. He's protesting the flag that gives him the right to protest.

Freedom of speech means the government won't put him in jail. Doesn't affect NFL. I don't understand how this is ok but NFL micromanages things like cleat color and didn't let players where certain arm bands etc for other causes. Whatever, the NFL can do as it pleases but a little consistency might make people more understanding.
