Because your premise is wrong. LSU's season does not hinge on QB play. And the reason Bama wins championships with the equivalent of 2012 Mett at QB is because they dominate both lines of scrimmage, they're experienced and talented at every position, and they are well coached and prepared for every likely contingency. In 2016 LSU will have all but the last of these. I expect a good season.
