To mkibod1:

He's made 13 tackles per game this season. I don't give a shite how he tackles the sumbitches or how it looks when he hits them. The guy made 13 tackles...that's a good game for anybody. Just to show you how dumb it is to say he didn't knock their heads off when he tackled them...THERE IS NOT A STAT IN FOOTBALL THAT RECORDS HOW MANY "BIG HITS" A PLAYER MAKES FOR A REASON. The reason being is that its irrelevant.

I haven't seen IMG blitz him yet.

I have no clue why considering his speed & size advantage.

But that's part of the reason why people are not seeing big hits/sacks/TFL.

It's almost like IMG is using All-star game rules where LB's can't blitz. Very odd coaching, for sure, because those rules don't apply.

I just can't wait till Aranda gets him.

Until then, I'm totally satisfied with 26 tackles in two games.

And this is a kid who is still learning the position. Once he learns how to make reads and actually play LB instead of just relying on pure athleticism, he's gonna be a fricking monster.

That is exactly what I said haha He makes tackles. That's all I want out of a linebacker! I don't care if he rides a guy to the ground, squares him up in the whole, or chases him down from the back side, as long as he makes the tackle, I'll gladly take it. I'm not calling out Moses or saying he is overrated. The guy had a great game and he is always around the ball or tackle. Read my original comment.

I'd be willing to bet he was discouraged from making big hits when tackling as a youth because of his size difference. He was much bigger, faster and stronger than his peers.

If you watch his film as a running back he runs through tacklers, but as a tackler he only runs into the ball carrier, not through the ball carrier. He has the athleticism to be a good LB as it is. In order to reach elite level at LB he will have to learn to keep driving when he tackles.
