re: Returning a lawn mower to Home Depot

I bought my pressure washer from Lowes. Was walking into the store and they had 4 Troy-Bilt pressure washers with Honda engines out front with $175 price tags (normally $350). I asked the guy that was putting them out what the deal was with them. He said they were returns. "People buy them to do their house or some job and return them," he said.

I picked out the best looking one and read the paperwork from the repair shop. "Customer claimed unit would not start. Started on first pull. Changed oil and drained fuel. Good to sell."

That was 3 years ago. Still runs like a champ.
