Where is the closest location that I could drive from Baton Rouge area to find white water rafting?

Probably North Arkansas. Ocoee and a few other rivers up here around East Tenn/West NC aren't terrible drives.

I would say it is most likely the Cossatot River in Southwest Arkansas. LINK

You'll be closest to some rivers in Arkansas. You'll enjoy the trip more if you go over to the Ocoee. Make it a full day trip and do the upper and middle with the Olympic section. Bad arse.
