Pittsburgh was No. 1 in the following:

Total yards
Yards per game
Total passing yards
Passing yards per game
Points allowed
Points per game

Denver was 24th in PPG, 20th in total yards and in yards per game. Denver's defense was nothing special.

I literally just looked it up. If that isn't 'No. 1' defense in the league then you don't know anything about football.

You have to normalize to possessions and 'per play' stats, totals are meaningless.
