Agree. They had a run some time ago, but more media hype more than real success. I think Gophers one up them.

You can't be serious.
Granted, I think Michigan only has one consensus national championship in the poll era, but look at the total wins and conference championships. They and Chicago were also the only relevant powers outside of the Ivy League in the early days of the sport.
But you think Minnesota one-ups them in the history of college football?
