They have a decent defense that is it
What?
They have a great defense. And I mean a GREAT defense. Their secondary was absolutely awesome the 2nd half of the season.
Now they're adding a healthy Clowney. Hell, they are a good defense without JJ, he just makes them great.

. And they aren't Seattle or Ravens dominant take over games with Ray Lewis in his prime good
If they stay healthy, they are going to push Denver for the best defense in the league. Their pass rush is insane.
Edit: They held 5 of their last 9 opponents to under 7 points, including the Saints. Their opponents averaged under 13 ppg in those games. They finished 3rd in ypg despite their slow start to the season.

More on the Texans
Not bad for "decent"
quote:
Over the past four games, the stats show just how dominant the Texans have been. They're giving up an incredible 8.75 points per game (and in three of their last four, haven't surrendered a touchdown). They're holding opposing teams to 180.5 passing yards per game, have only given up ONE passing touchdown, and have picked off the ball five times and registered eight takeaways.
quote:
In the last month (or last four games for every team), Houston leads the NFL in opponent points per game, opponent yards per game, opponent yards per play, opponent pass yards per game, opponent touchdowns, and have the most sacks. They're tied for second best in opponent rushing touchdowns and rushing yards per game.
Not bad for "decent"
