Looks like he's lost weight, got himself in much better shape and is full of enthusiasm and fire. Judging from the past few weeks of practice, he & his staff are working everybody's tails off. He came within a whisker of being fired and appears to have rededicated himself to this football team & university.

I believe he personally got the message. This should be a really special year!

I realize the neverLes crowd will attack, but I like his new persona.

Well between Ole Miss and aTm, that's as close as a coach can be fired without actually being fired. Hell, he actually knows what it like to be carried of the field for his last game as a head coach at LSU because he was that close. If that doesn't set reality in and that things need to change, nothing will.

I hope he got the message because with everything that happened plus all the changes made, he has no excuse this year. I'm not asking for a title, I'm just wanting to see him maximize the talent on hand. That requires him to utilize the Qb position to its fullest instead of what he's done with it 7 of the 10 years here.

It's a shame a guy making that much money needs to "get the message" to make changes...if he even makes any changes

If I had a dollar for every time I've read this on this board, I could have paid out Miles' contract buy out.

If what you think is true he should give portion of his pay back for what he has done the past few years.

On the other hand, he knows that everyone in the administration wanted him gone but they still couldn't fire him.

I'd be more inclined to believe he'll be even more stubborn than before, and won't change anything, because he knows LSU doesn't want another PR disaster.

Different but the same. Three loses. Nothing has changed.

I want 15-0 ships from here on out. If Les goes 14-1 with a ship I want him gone and we bring in Will Muschamp.

In terms of offensive philosophy, I don't think Les has the ability to change. He doesn't know how.

Great.

I'm all for it.

No excuses for Les this season.

November will tell the tale.

that's cool that les lost weight.

if different means he's opening up the passing game for a more balanced offense than im all in.

I hope you are right that he got the message. And I hope you are correct that he will be different. However, I still fear that he will just double down on stupid and try to push his predictable offensive philosophy even harder.

That is very encouraging.

Lots of concerns over his health last season, especially after his minor incident

Les did look off last season and I am not being mean or cracking a joke.

Here's to a great season

Today's gospel talked about wailing and gnashing of teeth... An omen?

I am already girding my loins to prepare for this season. Hope he proves me wrong the big oaf.

I could not care less about his persona.

I just want to see him fix the offense and get us back to being legit title contenders.
