Bc everyone is getting a hard on for madden tactics. These ideas can work every now and again but taking one blocker or receiver away to sub a guy who does the same thing as the other rb is redundant, no matter how good they are at rushing.

This is not brain surgery. See: 1. Ohio State 2. Clemson 3. Louisville 4. Oregon and oh YESSS 5. Bama (2nd half 2015).
It's not a waste. It's a modern offense.

Yeah because NFL teams don't do that all the time
The fact is LSU relies waaaaaayyy too much on straight up blocking and not enough at all on misdirection and mismatches. We rarely try to out coach opponents with our offense and instead go for the straight ahead approach that only works if you are on a whole other level than the team you are facing.
