Our government has had every opportunity to eradicate the opium poppy. They choose not to.

Clearly our government is willing to accept these ridiculous health issues.

Google Afghan Poppy Fields and look at the pictures of US soldiers guarding the crops.

The govt has no desire to cut out the heroin. They are cutting out the pain meds to create a vacuum that's being filled by heroin in places that had never seen heroin before.

For those that think I need a tin foil hat, remember who brought coke in and showed the dealer's how to make crack in the 80s.

Do you realize what it would do if all of a sudden all illegal drugs were taken off the street? They would be a need for less law enforcement, rehabs would have to shut down across the nation, etc. There is a lot of drug money used to buy shite so it would take away a source of income from some.. some of those who are able to take that money, make it legal and do something else with it, etc.
