We gave up 24 points against a walk on from syracuse. We gave up 22 points to eastern michigan. We gave up 20 point to western kentucky.

the defense improved as the season went on

So does bama under saban. Do you want to be Texas a&m? We play in a division with the most defensive talent in cfb.

Alabama has a much more balanced offense than LSU...one that most LSU fans would settle for. I have never wanted to be A&M...I want an offense that is capable of moving the ball when teams are stuffing our rushing attack. To not want this is crazy!!!

Only someone with an agenda would say our defense was the strength in 2015.

You tell me what the national ranks mean for both units then. I always thought the lower the number meant the better the unit.

Lsu was 3rd in the sec in offensive points per game.

lsu defense was 9th in the sec in opponents points per game.
Texas a&m was ranked ahead of lsu.

Lsu was 4th in offensive yards per game.
Lsu defense was 5th in opponents yards per game.

For gods sake we gave up 20 points to every mid major opponent we played.
Our defense was 45th(10th in the sec) in opponents passer rating.
But yeah the defense was our strength.

Wut? I know the comp got tougher, but D gave up about a TD more in back half of 2015 than 1st half.
Hell, Malveto D gave up less ppg. Even Tepper had a better year.
