One of my favorites from 2007? along with "There will be blood". No country has been playing lately on either Starz or Cinemax.
Interesting that you write this. These are two of my favorite movies as well, but people look at me strange when I tell them I loved "There will be blood."
I worked California oil, which made the movie that much more interesting to me. It's one of my favorites.

Interesting fact from the trivia on Amazon Prime...No Country for Old Men and There Will be Blood had similar production timelines. One time, both movies were filming close to each other in Texas, and No Country had to stop filming because the smoke from a burning oil well from the There Will Be Blood set was screwing up the shot.

There will be blood is in my top 3 if not #1. I just love everything about it from Daniel Day-Lewis' outstanding performance to the music score to the cinematography.
I love how the movie is just strange enough to keep it kinda obscure, not many ppl know anything about it. It is a movie that can turn off a lot of people right from the beginning due to the no dialogue for 15 minutes or so.
Just a masterpiece of a movie in my opinion.
