That '85 game vs. Bama could have been one of the most frustrating games in LSU football history. LSU dominated the game but couldn't pull away at any time. There was a key fumble by Garry James when it looked like the Tigers would go up 2 scores, and Bama converted a long 4th down play with less than 2 minutes to go, the distance of which can only be described in light years.

Then Ronnie Lewis misfired on a game winning FG on the last play. I remember thinking it was good, but the official thought otherwise.
