Didn't say he'd start, but he would get his carries. Hell, he had 900 yards backing up Melvin as a So. Come on... give in a little bit, LSU doesn't corner the market on stud players, other teams have some too.

Look, I doubt Clement would take many carries from Fournette or Guice, a guy almost just as good behind him.

Statistically the best rush defense Wisconsin faced in 2014 was was 34th Ohio State. Clement had 5 carries for 14 yards 2 rec 12 yards. The second best rush defense he faced was 46th LSU where he had 15 carries for 45 yards and 1 TD. Next was Iowa at 66th, but he only ran once. IMO, Clement has yet to prove himself vs any defense that wasn't crap.

Compare Fournette in 2015 as a sophomore. Versus the #1 rush defense, he had 31 yards on 19 carries with 1 TD. He had 19 carries for 91 yards 1 TD and 3 receptions for 36 yards vs the #12 rush defense in Arkansas. Against the #23 rush defense in Ole Miss, he had 25 carries for 108 yards (with a 59 yarder called back), and 4 receptions for 72 yards. Against the #26 rush defense he had 31 carries for 180 yards 2 TDs plus a 15 yard reception.

I even went back to both guys freshmen year and Clement hasn't proven himself against any defense worth a flip, while Fournette actually ran the ball well against Ole Miss, Alabama, and Florida as a freshman.

Clement is unproven, and I'm just telling you not to get your hopes up. I'm not saying he can't be good, but he has yet to have more than 1-2 opportunities and just watching him, he doesn't come close to Gordon IMO.

As a huge LSU fan I can say this without question. We are much more talented than Wisconsin, but will get outcoached. Our talent should win the game but it sure as hell ain't gonna be a walk in the park unless Les opens it up and Brandon Harris improves greatly in his execution.
