Clement was on the Heisman watch list going into last year. You're talking like he's just an average player. He'll get his behind a more experience OLine.

I don't think UW wins by any means, but I like how many of you think it will be a walk in the park. Being the underdog is fun.

I did say ya'll were getting him back healthy along with an improved OL, but at the same time, I'm not impressed with Clement like I was with Gordon though. It's not to say Clement is bad, but Clement was a non factor vs that crap-tastical run defense we had in the 1st half of the 2015 season (15 carries 45 yards 1 TD), while at the same time, Melvin Gordon pretty much had a field day (16 carries 140 yards 1 TD). He also hasn't had a decent game vs a decent opponent yet. Your backups to him looked average at best last year as well.

I do like your front 7 though, but how well do they perform in their first game without Aranda, against a team loaded with talent and experience?

Y'all will probably give us a game for the 1st quarter or half, but it'll get embarrassing in the second half for Wisconsin.

Pretty unfair to try looking at Corey Clement in the same lens as Melvin Gordon. Gordon is arguably the best college RB in recent memory.
