I'm cool with it. I see a lot of furniture that looks fine from the drive by. If someone can use it or even re-sell it that's great.

I'm here too. At first we weren't sure how to feel, but as we started running out of space to stack stuff by the road at my friends house, we're glad they took some. Hopefully it helps those people and keeps salvageable items out of a landfill.

I've seen a lot of people picking up appliances. I f you are handy you might be able to get them going after a little tlc, My dryer made noise on my first load and got hot to the touch and then after that it was fine. I guess it just had to work out the moisture in it.

My air conditioner went out yesterday after it was runing fine. My boyfriend and a neighbor got it going again. I needed a contactor. Thank goodness the neighbor is an electrician and had the exact part I needed! It wasn't so much for comfort but I need to keep the air going to retard mold growth, I have treated with mold spray and have fans and a/c going after pulling up the flooring. So far so good I hope.
