Spring Lake was one of the subdivisions expected to get water, wasn't it?

Boss and I are supposed to be flying out of BTR today (HAHA YEAH RIGHT) and she lives there.

We are evacuating this morning, water is getting close to my home. Should I turn off all circuit breakers on my house? Thanks for any input.

It might get water and the possibility is high. The neighborhood to the right and across the street are start to get some significant standing water

Thanks cypress. We literally just moved there and don't even have our renter's insurance yet. Anyway, we dont back up to any of the lakes, thankfully, so hoping it'll be ok. to you. And as far as our new house.. I guess we will just have to deal with whatever comes our way.

I have a friend in westhaven said some streets are backed up with 4-6 inches of water. Nothing serious as of now but it's rising.

Drone footage from Pumkin Center and I12 Jesus this is scary. I can't believe that much water made it into these subdivisions and the interstate

Wow,that's incredible footage. This is all heartbreaking.

I don't know if you are who I think you are, but I have been thinking about your family if so. Hopefully someone has more info.

I drove through and check an hour ago. Retention ponds and storm drains are not draining but have about 2 ft to go to get to street level and another 2-3 ft before door steps. Keep an eye on the Bayou Manchac and Bluff swamp gages
