Do you realize how fricking stupid this makes you sound?
Cannabis is illegal because it has no FDA approved medical indication, but the version created in a lab that people can't grow in their back yard is FDA approved.

I gave an explanation of how the system works for scheduling of drugs. I guess you have no idea how many drugs are derived or identified as naturally occurring compounds that are then synthesized in a lab. This can be done for many reasons - scale, costs, isolation of active isomers, formulation of acceptable salts, and controlled dosing (one of the more important). I could teach you to grow some foxglove in your backyard. Good luck figuring out how to control your heart failure without dying first.
