His medical bills are paid at 100%. By law, he gets paid 66 2/3 of his gross average weekly wage. I don't know if the Sheriff's office makes up the difference. Or maybe they supplement additional pay for being shot on duty. The only problem I see is if he was working a lot of off duty to supplement his income. That might throw everything off.

The extra duty and the loss of the wife's income due to taking care of him I'm sure has hit hard.
