The facts as we know them are the dead guy and his buddies(likely all on their way back to college), were brandishing a firearm and shouting profanities. At 1 am. When confronted by a resident, they refused to leave.

None of these are facts. They are all what the guy who killed this kid offered as his justification.

No these are not the facts as we know it. The shooter said they were brandishing guns. He did not say the victim was brandishing a gun. He did not say the victim was shouting profanities. It did not state that they were leaving or not leaving.
