This particular stretch of road is a pain in the arse because there are really long inclines that the 18 wheelers get bogged down on. And, of course, they never want to get in the right lane so they essentially ride side by side and back up traffic.

she was tailgating a pickup truck in the lefthand lane. did you watch the video? tractor trailers weren't involved until she slammed into the one in the righthand lane after losing control.

The wreck I mentioned that happened here in B'ham was on what is basically an old backroad. Lots of sharp curves and lots of hills. In other words, a terrible place to tailgate a vehicle, especially if you're on a bike like that guy was. Now he's just a warning to others.
